Okay, so I admit it! I don’t like black radishes. I feel so evil saying that. Hearty and slightly bitter, I have a rough time with them and there are only so many salads you can do with these guys. The two pounds we got in our last share set me into panic. That plus the beautiful flowering broccoli, the itoi onions, leftover endive, and potatoes. The longer I waited the more the pressure built. Do something good. FOOD CHALLENGE.
The crazy kitchen experiment ended with a cashew black radish caraway stuffed gnocchi (boat/moons) with a lightly yet creamy flowering broccoli soup. Butter chili seared endive wasn’t all that necessary but a rather hot little peck on the cheek. I am ready for tomorrow’s share.
